Along with Kager Lake and Star Lake, Long Lake is located on Boer mountain. There are great hiking trails all around these lakes that are all accessible by foot or bike from Boer Mtn Road.

Directions: Off of the highway in Burns Lake turn East, on 5th Ave. 5th Ave goes up the hill, then does a large 180 degree turn to the left, and turns into 9th Ave heading W down the hill. Gowan Rd turnoff is near the top of the hill. Turn right on Gowan Rd, then left (E) on Boer Mtn Forest Service Rd, and go about 3 km to Kager Lk on the right. Just past the lake is a road on the East side, there’s a dock about a 100 ft in.
